For my "A Day in a Life..." assignment, I wanted to show the life of an ant. This is just a very rough sketch of how I wanted to design the idea. I'm still not sure of about the 1st and last panel... but for the middle part, ants basically have a hiearchal structure where the queen is the highest rank, the guard ant is in the middle and the worker ant is many but the lowest rank. From there, I just described their jobs or roles by using arrows and dotted lines like how they are used for a family tree since ants are really one, big family that works with one another everyday. I'm still working on what I should draw for each panel... but I'm still working on it.
