Great job on these thumbnails Virginia! It looks like you're taking to this approach pretty naturally, which will help you so much when planning a picture. If your image can read clearly at 2 inches, imagine how impacting it would be as a huge painting. I'd be curious to see what you would do with a more unconventional dimension for a compositional study (i.e. oval, square, an extremely narrow but long rectangle, or even a 3 dimensional surface like the artist Patrick Hughes).
