VA's Thumbnails


This is how I have been approaching the thumbnail homework assignments.

  1. Great job on these thumbnails Virginia! It looks like you're taking to this approach pretty naturally, which will help you so much when planning a picture. If your image can read clearly at 2 inches, imagine how impacting it would be as a huge painting. I'd be curious to see what you would do with a more unconventional dimension for a compositional study (i.e. oval, square, an extremely narrow but long rectangle, or even a 3 dimensional surface like the artist Patrick Hughes).
