Comedy of Errors (ideas)
I don't know if you can see images 3-5, but from how I started the first one... I tried to show the twins seeing each other like a reflection? Which was probably how I had the mirror idea in #2, but I tried other ways to show that idea like for 3-5 I tried to show the twins meeting up at places (around the corner, at the store/window, etc.). So my 6th image is kind of like a situation where people window-shop and then they see the weirdest things in the stores.... so in a way it's like seeing your own mannequin, but it's actually a real person who just looks like you... I hope this makes any sense because I'm still kind of confused....

I think the 2nd and 5th one are the strongest ideas, Courtney. I like the 5th one because the characters aren't facing each other, and if they look like the same person it will be a little weird...in a good way. Also, the background character looks as though he is breaking out of his frame and possibly striking a comedic pose which lends itself well to the story. I think the 2nd looks like a nice illustration already but needs a bit more tweaking if it is to fit this play more specifically. Hopefully this helps.
ReplyDeleteThank you, and I do kind of have an idea now... I'm just still debating on how to alter the face (or faces) for the characters to bring out the comedy aspect of the play.
