Tis what i came up with

  1. It's really difficult to see the "Of Errors" part.

  2. Yeah I just noticed it, It looks brighter on Photoshop. I'll try a different outline for it. Anything Else wrong. i was kind of thinking of having the poster burning where the rip is.

  3. Remember what I say all the time...line won't hold up when separating shapes/values. So the "Errors" needs to be a lighter value against a darker value.

As far as drawing goes, I think the face on the left needs to move to the right because it's getting cut off a bit weird. The eyes are set at a bizarre proportion as well. I think if you're still going with the mask idea, they need to read clearly as masks. Look up some masquerade masks, or masks from Shakespeare's era so you understand how they sit on the face a bit more accurately.

    1. How should I fit them in, The tear is whats making it hard for me to put the faces together on the poster. Either one i do is getting cut off.

  4. Look at how much space is being wasted as negative space between the tear and the face on the left. There is a pretty wide space between the tear and his nose for instance. You can move the faces in, or shrink them a bit to fit. The masks simply don't look like masks at this point, the one on the right looks like a wild animal to me. I thought initially it was going to be one face torn in two, but either side of the tear would be slightly different so we know it's two people. Now, it's tearing in a weird space between the two faces that I can't quite understand. It's cutting them off and placing them on the picture plane in an unusual way. Remember what was said in class, practice drawing a face and design a mask to fit on it, so then you can turn the view angle however you want and you know how the mask should sit on the face.

  5. I like the idea so far, but the image is kind of blurry, especially the face area.... I don't know what it would look like on Photoshop, but I think you may need to adjust the colors a little. Like for the title, it's kind of hard to read the bottom part. What are you planning to do as the image progresses?
